Appropriates $2,500,000 in recurring funds annually for the 2025-2027 fiscal biennium from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health

Grants will be awarded competitively to nonprofit community health centers to purchase and distribute long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) to underserved, uninsured, or medically indigent patients

LARCs must provide effective contraception for extended periods without requiring user action, be designed as temporary and discontinuable, be FDA-approved, and require a prescription from an authorized health care provider

Effective date is July 1, 2025
