Requires every public school in North Carolina to be staffed by at least one full-time, permanent school nurse beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Applies to all public school types: local school administrative units, charter schools, regional schools, and laboratory schools

Appropriates $95 million in recurring funds from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction to increase the School Health Personnel Allotment

New funding must supplement, not replace, existing school nurse funding from any source

Effective date of July 1, 2025
