Prohibits the manufacture, sale, transfer, use, or possession of "ghost guns" (firearms lacking a unique serial number engraved by a licensed manufacturer) and undetectable firearms in North Carolina

Defines undetectable firearms as those not detectable by walk-through metal detectors, those that don't generate accurate images on security screening devices, or those manufactured wholly of plastic, fiberglass, or through 3D printing

Exempts federally licensed firearm manufacturers (Federal Firearm License Type 07) operating under ATF regulations

Violations would be classified as a Class I felony

Effective date of December 1, 2025, applying to offenses committed on or after that date
