General Assembly members' annual salary would be set equal to the average annual salary of North Carolina public school teachers as determined by the National Education Association, with per diem, subsistence, and travel reimbursement aligned to state employee rates

Members of both the House and Senate would be limited to 16 consecutive years of service in each chamber, with terms served before January 1, 2027 not counting toward the limit

Regular legislative sessions would be capped at 120 calendar days in odd-numbered years and 90 calendar days in even-numbered years, with a one-time 10-day extension allowed by joint resolution

All three proposed constitutional amendments would be placed on the November 3, 2026 statewide general election ballot for voter approval

Reconvened sessions called by the Governor and court-ordered sessions would be excluded from the session length limits
