Private school and home school students may participate in sports at their base public high school, subject to the same terms and conditions as enrolled students

If a student's school (public, private, or home school) does not offer a particular sport, the student may participate at the nearest public high school that offers that program

Public high schools may charge non-enrolled students a reasonable participation fee as established by the local board of education

Local boards of education must publish all approved fees, including those for non-enrolled student participation, on their website by October 15 of each school year and within 30 days of any revisions
