Authorizes the NC Department of Health and Human Services to establish a Mental Health and Psychedelic Medicine Task Force to assess the potential use of psychedelic medicine for treating the state's mental health crisis

Task Force will evaluate barriers to implementation, equitable access, licensing and insurance requirements for practitioners, and legal pathways to legalization if psychedelics receive FDA approval

Membership includes 15+ members: secretaries from DHHS, Military and Veterans Affairs, and Commerce; representatives from mental health organizations, Native communities, domestic violence survivors, psychiatry, and medical schools; plus 4 legislators

Task Force must meet at least 4 times and submit a final report with proposed legislation to the General Assembly by December 1, 2026

Task Force terminates on December 31, 2026, or upon filing its final report, whichever is later
