Expands community college tuition and registration fee waivers to include mental health clinicians and peer support specialists working in municipal and county EMS or rescue and lifesaving departments

Covers personnel whose primary responsibility is embedding mental health clinicians in 911 call centers to direct appropriate resources to calls for service

Includes professionals who pair mental health clinicians, peer support specialists, and other trained professionals with first responders to respond to calls

Courses eligible for waiver must support the organizations' training needs and be on a specialized course list approved by the State Board of Community Colleges

Effective date: July 1, 2025
