Allows holders of non-REAL ID compliant driver's licenses to renew remotely for two consecutive renewal cycles before requiring an in-person renewal

Maintains existing requirement that REAL ID compliant licenses must alternate between in-person and remote renewals (no consecutive remote renewals permitted)

Amends G.S. 20-7(f) governing the duration and renewal of driver's licenses

Effective January 1, 2026, applying to licenses renewed on or after that date
