Increases the minimum weekly workers' compensation benefit for total disability from $30 to $50 per week, effective July 1, 2026

Raises the maximum compensation for serious facial or head disfigurement from $20,000 to $56,000

Increases the maximum compensation for serious bodily disfigurement from $10,000 to $28,000

Raises the maximum compensation for loss or permanent injury to important organs or body parts from $20,000 to $56,000

Requires the North Carolina Industrial Commission to automatically adjust all maximum compensation amounts annually based on positive changes in the Consumer Price Index, beginning July 1, 2026
