Appoints individuals to 17 University of North Carolina system boards of trustees, including UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, East Carolina, and the NC School of Science and Mathematics, with terms expiring between June 30, 2027 and June 30, 2029

Appoints trustees to all 58 North Carolina community college boards for terms generally expiring June 30, 2029

Appoints members to approximately 80 state boards, commissions, and authorities, including the State Board of Community Colleges, Board of Transportation, Ethics Commission, Environmental Management Commission, and Wildlife Resources Commission

Unless otherwise specified, appointments begin July 1, 2025; the act was ratified June 30, 2025 and is effective upon becoming law
