Expands authorization for electronic public notices from 5 Wake County towns to 11 towns: Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Morrisville, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, and Zebulon

Allows governing bodies of these towns to adopt ordinances permitting public hearing notices and other required notices via electronic means, including town websites, in lieu of traditional publication

Electronic notice does not override state laws requiring mailed notice to specific individuals or posting of signs on property

Publication schedules for public notices remain unchanged regardless of electronic delivery method

Effective immediately upon becoming law
