NC S93

Requires the State Board to adopt rules allowing sick leave and vacation leave to be transferred between charter schools and local school administrative units (traditional public school districts)

Transferred leave accepted by a local school administrative unit cannot result in leave accruing at a rate greater than the rate set by the Board

Makes charter school employees explicitly eligible for the transfer of sick leave and vacation leave under the new provision

Effective immediately upon becoming law, applying to individuals employed by either a local school administrative unit or charter school on or after that date
