Legislative Description

A BILL for an Act to create and enact a new subsection to section 39-03.1-09, a new subdivision to subsection 9 of section 39-03.1-11, a new subsection to section 54-52-05, and a new subdivision to subsection 9 of section 54-52-17 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to payment of employee contributions and retirement benefits under the highway patrolmen's retirement plan and the public employees retirement system; to amend and reenact subsection 1 of section 21-10-01, section 39-03.1-08.2, subdivision a of subsection 1 of section 39-03.1-10.1, section 39-03.1-11.2, subsection 4 of section 54-52-03, subsections 6 and 7 of section 54-52-17, section 54-52-28, subsection 7 of section 54-52.1-03, and section 54-52.1-03.4 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to membership of the state investment board, purchase of service credit, member refunds, Internal Revenue Code compliance, and board elections under the highway patrolmen's retirement plan and the public employees retirement system, and participation and employer payments under the uniform group insurance program; and to provide an effective date.
