State board of higher education provides North Dakota academic scholarships or career and technical education scholarships of $750 per semester to eligible students enrolled full-time at accredited in-state higher education institutions with a cumulative GPA of 2.75.

Maximum scholarship award is $6,000 per student, with scholarships valid for six academic years after high school graduation and not applicable to graduate programs.

Scholarships are available to resident students meeting requirements of sections 15.1-21-02.4 or 15.1-21-02.5 who graduate from a North Dakota high school, a bordering state high school under chapter 15.1-29, or a nonpublic bordering state high school while residing with a custodial parent in North Dakota.

State board forwards scholarship payments directly to the enrolled institution rather than to students.

Enrollment does not need to be in consecutive semesters to qualify for the scholarship.
