Wireless service providers must provide call location information to law enforcement agencies or public service answering points upon request for emergency response or situations involving risk of death or serious physical harm.

Wireless service providers may voluntarily establish their own protocols for disclosing call location information.

Wireless service providers and other persons are protected from civil lawsuits when providing call location information in good faith under this section.

The bureau of criminal investigation must obtain contact information from all wireless service providers authorized to do business in North Dakota and distribute it to all public safety answering points in the state.
