Allows school districts to conduct readiness testing and formative assessments of incoming kindergarten students, with testing dates scheduled either within or before the regular school calendar.

Requires school districts to notify parents of each incoming kindergarten student of the date and time of their child's testing or assessment.

Permits districts to count up to two days designated for readiness testing and formative assessments as kindergarten instructional days for state funding purposes under section 15.1-06-04.

Limits kindergarten student attendance on those two days to only the period during which the individual student's testing or assessment is scheduled.
