ND HB1304

Adds a new exemption to North Dakota Century Code section 43-25-04 for individuals practicing energy healing without massage therapy licensure.

Exempts practitioners who manipulate the energy field or flow of energy of the human body using means other than soft tissue manipulation.

Requires that practitioners' services not be designated or implied to be massage or massage therapy to qualify for the exemption.

Clarifies that light touch or tap contact does not constitute soft tissue manipulation under this exemption.

Passed the House 72-19 and the Senate 42-3 during the 2011 legislative session.
