Directs legislative management to study statutes of limitation and venue requirements for civil actions in North Dakota during the 2011-12 interim.

Study must review whether current time limitations on filing civil actions remain appropriate and whether they should be modified.

Study must examine the extent to which nonresidents file claims in North Dakota courts for claims that would be prohibited in other states due to expired statutes of limitation.

Study must review North Dakota venue requirements and determine whether amendments are needed to prevent nonresidents with no connection to the state from bringing claims in North Dakota courts.

Legislative management must report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the sixty-third legislative assembly.
