Direct the Legislative Management to study eminent domain laws as they relate to pipeline siting in North Dakota

Address concerns that pipelines may be built across multiple states without direct benefit to North Dakota residents

Examine how state eminent domain laws may be used against property owners to locate pipelines on their property without consent

Study impacts of eminent domain takings that may not consider surrounding property and future property uses, as well as legal fees and costs incurred by property owners in defense

Require Legislative Management to report findings and recommendations, including any necessary legislation, to the Sixty-third Legislative Assembly
