Amends North Dakota Century Code section 12-44.1-18.2 to increase the daily room and board fee cap for inmates in work release programs from $15 to $20 per day.

Daily fee amount for inmates in correctional facilities may not exceed $20 per day or the funds earned by the inmate, whichever is less.

Daily fee for inmates in residential halfway houses or similar alternative facilities may not exceed the actual cost per day or the funds earned by the inmate, whichever is less.

Facility administrator retains authority to determine the specific amount of meal and lodging costs to be paid by each inmate.
