Authorizes highway patrol or local law enforcement to temporarily close roads due to hazardous conditions for public safety, with reasonable attempts to notify the public and post official traffic-control devices.

Prohibits individuals from knowingly entering a road closed under this section if posted with an appropriate traffic-control device at the point of entry.

Establishes a fine of $250 for violating the prohibition against entering a closed road.
