Amends North Dakota Century Code section 39-01-01 subsection 2 to redefine "authorized emergency vehicles" into three classes (Class A, B, and C) for purposes of emergency light usage.

Class A authorized emergency vehicles include fire department vehicles, police vehicles, ambulances, game and fish department vehicles, corrections vehicles, railroad police vehicles, parks and recreation vehicles, and bureau of criminal investigation vehicles.

Class B authorized emergency vehicles include wreckers and other emergency vehicles authorized by local authorities.

Class C authorized emergency vehicles include vehicles authorized by homeland security or emergency management, volunteer firefighter vehicles during disaster response, and emergency medical services vehicles other than ambulances.
