Amends North Dakota Century Code section 58-02-28 to clarify the procedures for dissolving a township upon majority voter approval at a township meeting.

Funds derived from property taxes levied by the township may be allocated among taxpayers in proportion to their relative ownership shares of taxable property valuation in the township.

Funds from sources other than property taxes must be transferred by the township treasurer to the county treasurer for deposit in the county general fund.

Real or personal property belonging to the township must be disposed of in the manner directed by a majority of voters at a special meeting, after payment of township debts and liabilities.

All township records must be turned over to the county auditor for preservation and safekeeping; bill is declared an emergency measure.
