Expresses legislative support for the Northern Tier Network Technology Initiative, an information technology network serving the North Dakota University System across a multi-state region from Seattle, Washington to Chicago, Illinois and from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Omaha, Nebraska

Acknowledges that the Legislative Assembly appropriated funds to the North Dakota University System in 2007 to support the initiative

Recognizes that the Legislative Management's Information Technology Committee received status reports on North Dakota's implementation progress during the 2007-08 and 2009-10 interim periods

Commends North Dakota telecommunication companies for their role in supporting and sustaining the Northern Tier Network Technology Initiative

Directs the Secretary of State to forward copies of the resolution to Northern Tier Network - North Dakota members and the chairman of the Legislative Management's Information Technology Committee
