Enlisted national guard members called to state active duty receive daily pay increases based on rank: E-3 (55%), E-4 (45%), E-5 (35%), E-6 (25%), E-7 (15%), and E-8 (10%) above the national guard of the United States rate for similar grade and term of enlistment.

Commissioned officers called to state active duty receive pay and allowances at the rate allowed by federal law for officers of similar rank and length of service in the United States Army.

Both enlisted members and commissioned officers receive an additional state active duty pay enhancement of $100 for every fourteen consecutive days spent on state active duty.

Enlisted members also receive transportation, shelter, and subsistence allowances, with deductions permitted for unreturned issued articles and legal fines or forfeitures.

The act is declared an emergency measure.
