Modifies definitions and title abbreviations for nursing license types, requiring APRN to use "APRN" abbreviation and SPRN to use "SPRN" abbreviation; establishes "shall use" (mandatory) rather than "may use" (optional) abbreviations for R.N. and L.P.N.

Extends the deadline for advanced practice nurses licensed before December 31, 2015 (previously January 1, 2007) to apply for licensure under former requirements rather than current graduate degree standards.

Repeals sections 43-12.1-18 and 43-12.1-20 relating to nursing practice standards and continuing education requirements; delegates these regulatory matters to board administrative rules instead.
