Amends section 15.1-21-08 of the North Dakota Century Code regarding state academic achievement testing requirements.

Requires the superintendent of public instruction to administer annual reading and mathematics tests aligned to state standards to all public school students in grades 3-8 and at least one grade level from grades 9-11.

Requires the superintendent to administer annual science tests aligned to state standards to students in at least one grade level from grades 3-5, at least one from grades 6-9, and at least one from grades 10-11.

Prohibits the superintendent from administering the grade 11 science test after December 1st of each school year.

Passed the Senate 44-1 with 2 absences and the House 73-14 with 7 absences.
