Amends North Dakota Century Code section 47-16-15 to modify lease termination notice requirements for residential properties.

Requires landlords to clearly state any notice period exceeding one month in writing and obtain the tenant's initials; if not initialed, tenants may terminate with one calendar month's notice.

Allows tenants who have resided in a residential property for more than 365 days to terminate a lease on the last day of any month with at least one calendar month's notice, regardless of initial lease terms.

Maintains existing requirements for month-to-month tenancies (one calendar month's notice) and for leases converted to month-to-month status under referenced statutes.

Provides tenants a 25-day notice option to terminate if a landlord changes lease terms under section 47-16-07.
