Amends North Dakota Century Code section 47-10-15 to clarify that when a person conveys real property in fee simple and later acquires title to that property, the property passes by operation of law to the original grantee or their successor.

Establishes that a quitclaim deed containing the word "grant" in the words of conveyance passes after-acquired title regardless of other language describing the interest being conveyed.

Specifies that use of a quitclaim deed, with or without explicit reference to after-acquired title, does not create any defect in the title of the person conveying real property.

Applies the amended statute retroactively to any conveyance regardless of when the deed was executed.
