Increases the motor vehicle allowance for injured employees with catastrophic injuries from an unspecified amount to $150,000 for the life of the employee, regardless of subsequent claims.

Allows the organization to pay up to $75,000 for permanent additions, remodeling, or adaptations to real estate for catastrophically injured employees, with the dollar limit applying for the employee's lifetime.

Prohibits the organization from paying for insurance or maintenance of motor vehicles, but allows payment for vehicle or adaptation replacement purchases within the $150,000 limit.

Permits the organization to provide real estate and vehicle benefits to non-catastrophically injured employees if determined cost-effective and appropriate due to exceptional circumstances.

Applies to all vehicle purchases and adaptations occurring on or after the effective date of the act.
