Removes the position of one individual appointed by the governor with experience in curriculum development and teaching of American Indian languages at elementary or high school levels from the American Indian language preservation committee.

Replaces that position with one individual appointed by the president of each tribal college in North Dakota, allowing multiple tribal college representatives on the committee.

Committee membership now includes the Indian affairs commission executive director (chairman), superintendent of public instruction or designee, state historical society director, North Dakota humanities council chairman, University of North Dakota Indian studies department chairman or designee, and tribal college appointees.

Committee shall continue to meet at least quarterly at the call of the chairman.

Appropriates $150,000 from the general fund to the Indian affairs commission for funding programs to preserve American Indian languages for the biennium beginning July 1, 2013, and ending June 30, 2015.
