• Requires health insurers to provide minimum 30 hours annually of outpatient mental health treatment when provided by licensed marriage and family therapists, with same deductible and copayment restrictions as other covered providers.

• Mandates the Department of Human Services provide medical assistance to eligible recipients for services provided by licensed marriage and family therapists.

• Requires licensed marriage and family therapist profession be included in the North Dakota job classification index under the advanced clinical specialist classification, with department to submit implementation plan within 30 days.
