State of North Dakota may sell, trade, or otherwise convey real property used by the north central research extension center in Ward County and the Williston research extension center in Williams County, subject to approval by the state board of agricultural research and education, the vice president for agricultural affairs at North Dakota State University, and the legislative management budget section.

Any conveyance must allow for appropriate relocation of the research extension centers and replacement of structures and personal property in a manner substantially equivalent to the property conveyed.

Funds received from conveyance that exceed the amount necessary to relocate an extension center must be deposited in a special fund for agricultural research purposes at the affected research extension center.

Ward County land authorized for conveyance includes portions of sections 10, 11, 12, and 15 in township 154 north, range 83 west.

Williams County land authorized for conveyance includes the northeast quarter of section 36 and all of section 25 in township 154 north, range 102 west.
