Legislative management shall consider conducting a study during the 2015-16 interim on the practice of veterinary medicine in North Dakota, including statutory and regulatory requirements and limitations.

Study scope includes examination of small animal, large animal, and research-focused veterinary practices, and may review the state board of veterinary medical examiners' membership, powers, duties, and governance.

Study may recommend changes to veterinary medicine laws that are irrelevant, inconsistent, illogically arranged, or unclear in their intent and direction.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the sixty-fifth legislative assembly.
