Creates new section in North Dakota Century Code (chapter 47-16) allowing landlords to require reliable supporting documentation from tenants claiming disability-related need for service or assistance animals in no-pets rental units.

Documentation must be provided by a physician or medical professional and confirm the tenant's disability and the relationship between the disability and the need for the animal accommodation.

Prohibits landlords from requiring documentation if the tenant's disability or disability-related need for a service or assistance animal is readily apparent or already known to the landlord.
