Adds stalking to the list of reasons for which an employee can separate from employment and remain eligible for unemployment compensation benefits in North Dakota.

Requires claimants to submit documentation verifying the stalking within fourteen calendar days of filing for unemployment benefits.

Acceptable stalking documentation includes a police or law enforcement record and a written affidavit from a licensed counselor, licensed social worker, member of the clergy, domestic violence advocate, or licensed attorney who has assisted the claimant.

Job Service North Dakota must notify the most recent employer of the reason for separation when an individual identifies domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault as the cause.

False statements regarding domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault in unemployment claims are subject to penalties under state law.
