Legislative management shall study family caregiver supports and services during the 2015-16 interim period.

Study must identify existing policies, resources, and programs available for family caregivers and explore innovative means to support in-home care for older adults.

Study committee shall gather input from hospitals, social and clinical providers, advocacy organizations, tribal government, state and local agencies, and caregivers regarding caregiver designation, training, respite services, medical leave policies, and task delegation to non-medical aides.

Study must include an inventory of available resources for family caregivers and may recommend administrative actions to support them.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the sixty-fifth legislative assembly.
