ND HB1338

Expands the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Commission's authority to investigate and review all deaths in North Dakota resulting from domestic violence, including relevant laws, policies, agency actions, and criminal justice data.

Mandates that hospitals, physicians, medical professionals, medical facilities, mental health professionals, and mental health facilities disclose all records of individuals upon request or investigative demand from the commission regarding deaths determined to be domestic violence-related.

Requires the commission and its members to maintain confidentiality of all records examined during investigations.

Changes the annual reporting deadline for the commission's findings and recommendations from December 31st to March 31st of each year, submitted to the Attorney General.
