Each state agency, department, and institution must adopt and enforce a policy on employee harassment, including sexual harassment.

Harassment policies must clearly define harassment and specify the responsibilities of employees, supervisors, and the agency, department, or institution.

Agencies, departments, or institutions that fail to adopt their own harassment policy must be subject to the policy adopted by the North Dakota human resource management services division.
