Creates a new section in North Dakota Century Code chapter 12-44.1 requiring state reimbursement for incarceration costs of inmates with mandatory minimum sentences.

State shall reimburse the correctional facility operator or governing body $40 per day for each day an inmate sentenced under a mandatory minimum serves.

Reimbursement applies only to inmates whose sentences are imposed by the court as mandatory minimum sentences.
