Legislative Management shall conduct a study on employment restrictions in public assistance programs, particularly those restricting eligibility based on total hours worked by employees.

Study aims to address workforce shortage issues in North Dakota and allow current employees to work additional hours without automatically losing public assistance benefits.

Legislative Management must report findings and recommendations, including any required legislation, to the Sixty-fifth Legislative Assembly.

Resolution identifies that total hours worked is not always an accurate indicator of an individual's need for public assistance support.
