Senate Bill No. 2053 Summary

• Amends North Dakota Century Code sections related to the Hague Convention on International Recovery of Child Support and Family Maintenance to clarify terminology, fix cross-references, and improve language consistency throughout sections 14-12.2-47.1 through 14-12.2-47.13.

• Changes the age cutoff for "student with a disability" eligibility from September first to August first of the year the student turns twenty-one in section 15.1-32-01.

• Removes obsolete language requiring the labor commissioner appointment to begin on January 1, 1999, and removes an outdated deadline of June 30, 2011 for creating a searchable budget database in section 54-44.1-18.

• Adds Williams County to the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District in section 61-24-02.

• Repeals Chapter 4-21 and section 11-11.1-05 of the North Dakota Century Code as part of technical cleanup.
