Amends section 50-06-30 of the North Dakota Century Code regarding an interagency agreement between the Department of Human Services and Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation that became effective August 1, 2007.

Requires the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to train, consult, and assist the Department of Human Services with security and safety procedures at the state hospital for all patients, staff, visitors, and volunteers.

Specifies coverage includes patients committed under chapter 25-03.1 or placed at the state hospital for evaluation or civil commitment and treatment under chapter 25-03.3.

Maintains that the Department of Human Services retains responsibility for custody, care, assessments, evaluations, treatment, staffing (including maintenance), and daily and health care of all patients at the state hospital.
