Amends section 15.1-21-02.6 of the North Dakota Century Code to modify the North Dakota scholarship program for eligible students.

Scholarship awards are $750 per semester or $500 per quarter for full-time enrollment at accredited North Dakota higher education institutions while maintaining a 2.75 cumulative grade point average.

Maximum scholarship benefit is $6,000 per student and is valid for six academic years after high school graduation but cannot be applied to graduate programs.

Students participating in clinical, practicum, internship, cooperative, or similar external experiences equivalent to at least 12 units may maintain scholarship eligibility without meeting the standard 15-credit enrollment requirement, provided the experience counts as full-time for graduation purposes.

Scholarship is available to residents who graduate from North Dakota high schools, bordering state high schools under chapter 15.1-29, nonpublic high schools in bordering states while residing with a custodial parent in North Dakota, or complete home education programs supervised under chapter 15.1-23.
