Amends North Dakota Century Code section 47-19-41 to establish that unrecorded conveyances of real estate are void against any subsequent good-faith purchaser for valuable consideration, regardless of deed type.

Prohibits actions regarding title or liens on real property from being commenced based on the argument that a recorded instrument was not entitled to be recorded.

Declares that all recorded instruments, whether or not entitled to be recorded, constitute valid and sufficient legal records of such instruments.

Restricts holders of unrecorded conveyances from questioning the good faith of the first recording party unless they can establish the first recording party had actual knowledge of the unrecorded conveyance.

Passed with strong bipartisan support: Senate vote 46-1-0; House vote 91-0-3.
