Creates new section in North Dakota Century Code chapter 12.1-41 defining forced or coerced abortion as committing, attempting, or threatening physical harm to compel a human trafficking victim to have an abortion against her will.

Defines "threat" as statements or conduct placing a person in reasonable apprehension of harm, excluding constitutionally protected speech or generalized statements about lawful pregnancy options.

Requires law enforcement agencies to notify victims at least 24 hours before initially contacting the alleged perpetrator, upon victim request.

Allows courts to sentence defendants to up to five additional years of imprisonment beyond the sentence for the underlying human trafficking offense if forced or coerced abortion is proven.

Passed Senate 46-1 and House 93-0 during the 2015 legislative session.
