Amends North Dakota Century Code section 37-01-45 to change the adjutant general's duties regarding veterans records from writing, publishing, and distributing a comprehensive book of all North Dakota veterans to collecting information on North Dakotans who served in a theatre or area of armed conflict since the Vietnam conflict.

Removes the requirement for the adjutant general to determine projected costs and present them to legislative management for completion of a veterans book.

Directs the adjutant general to make collected veterans information available to the public in a manner the adjutant general deems advisable.

Passed the Senate 47-0 and the House 90-4 in the Sixty-fourth Legislative Assembly.
