• Committee shall manage a statewide data system integrating education and workforce data, establish data access policies, implement encryption and staff training requirements, conduct biennial privacy and security audits, and establish data breach notification procedures.

• Information technology department maintains the system under committee direction and may request required educational data from state agencies, subject to federal and state privacy law restrictions.
