Directs the legislative management to study abandoned gravel pit reclamation practices during the 2015-16 interim.

Study may examine feasibility of using state funds to reclaim abandoned gravel pits and financially difficult reclamation projects on state and county lands for farming, ranching, or other economic enterprises.

Study scope may include current reclamation practices and standards across North Dakota industries, financing options including the North Dakota outdoor heritage fund, and input from relevant departments and organizations.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any necessary implementing legislation to the sixty-fifth legislative assembly.
