Amends North Dakota Century Code section 15.1-21-08 to modify state assessment requirements for public school students in reading, mathematics, and science.

Reading and mathematics tests must be administered annually to all students in grades 3-8 and at least one grade level from 9-12 (changed from 9-11).

Science tests must be administered to all students in at least one grade level from 3-5, at least one from 6-9, and at least one from 10-12 (changed from 10-11).

Passed the House with 81 yeas and 12 nays; passed the Senate with 45 yeas and 2 nays.
